Bruce Gordon, Founder and President Bruce has been actively involved in flying in defense of America’s public lands for 20 years. His initiatives in the field have enabled him to meet and be honored by President Clinton, Vice President Al Gore and Presidential Figures of Costa Rica. His flying experience is varied and extensive. He has accumulated over 9,000 hours flying in over 10 countries around the world mostly in bush and mountainous conditions. Bruce is an ATP-commercial pilot with a multi-engine instrument instructor and floatplane rating. Passengers on his many environmental flight missions have included Ministers of foreign countries, Senators and Congressmen, and children of all ages who have participated in educational programs for the youth of the world.
Jane Pargiter, Program Coordinator and Office Manager Jane grew up in South Africa where the spectacular wild lands and abundant wildlife engendered her with a passionate love of the land. Jane has worked both as an educator and manager of various organizations. She has brought her love of the wild unspoiled areas of Africa to that of the Rocky Mountains. She brings both her organizational strengths and a creative mindset to EcoFlight and this, coupled with her interest in environmental issues, has helped develop EcoFlight’s educational programs, including the Kestrel Project and Flight Across America program. Jane strives to maintain a high level of education and advocacy in the EcoFlight programs and is committed to educating the youth in this country about their embattled environment.
Gina Groom, Program Support
Gina is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she studied Economics and Business. Her love of nature and the American West drew her to Aspen where she hopes to be involved in and make a difference with environmental issues. She also is concerned with helping young people develop a vested interest in the world in which we live.
Kim Popish, Bookkeeper Kim was born and raised in Aspen, Colorado; received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University. She has been a bookkeeper for 18 years and helps to keep EcoFlight on top of the ever-expanding financial requirements of a growing non-profit.
